Operator

Just Casually Modding the DOM is an independent project operated by Jovani Pink. Privacy questions can be sent to the contact address below.

Chat history cookie

The homepage chat experience stores at most the newest 10 validated messages in a first-party browser cookie named chat. It contains what you type and the demo NPC responses shown in the interface, and it expires after 24 hours.

Spell Lab Mock Familiar

The /play route keeps its Mock Familiar conversation in page memory only. Prompts are matched to deterministic responses in client-side code; they are not sent to an AI model or application server, stored in a cookie or local storage, or used to execute DOM spells. Closing the grimoire or reloading the page erases that conversation.

Analytics and tracking

This project does not currently run a consent-gated analytics stack on the public site. If analytics, accounts, or external model services are added later, this page should be updated before that behavior goes live.

Third-party services

Like most hosted sites, the project may rely on infrastructure providers that receive standard technical request data such as IP address, browser type, and timing information in server logs.
